    The Mount Olivet Cemetery Association; Archdiocese of Denver Mortuary at Mount Olivet, Inc.; St. Simeon Cemetery Association, (collectively, the Entities) is seeking a full-time, benefit eligible, Funeral Director in Wheat Ridge, CO. The Funeral Director reports to the Location Manager of the Archdiocese of Denver Mortuary. This position is responsible for providing customer service in all areas of helping client families achieve peace following the loss of a loved one by providing exemplary personalized service. The Funeral Director implements choices made by the families regarding the funeral, final disposition of the body and memorialization of the individual. This position is the primary contact with a client family and interacts with the family to fulfill its death care needs. The duties of the Funeral Director must be performed consistent with company mission and values and adherence to company policies and procedures and in doing so upholds the social teachings of the Catholic Church (the Church).


    High School diploma or equivalent, or related experience;

    Minimum 1-year experience working as a Funeral Director;

    Valid driver license.

    Finalists will be screened for Criminal Background, Education and Employment Verification and Motor Vehicle Records.

    Mt. Olivet Cemetery was consecrated in 1892 and is located on the western side of the Denver Metro area in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. It is the largest cemetery in Colorado containing 392 acres. St. Simeon Cemetery was consecrated in 2004 and is located on the eastern side of the Denver Metro area in Aurora, Colorado. The Mortuary is located on the grounds of Mt. Olivet Cemetery and was opened in 1981. These entities serve the Catholic Community of the Denver metro area and its various parishes, missions, and apostolates and other members of the general public regardless of their religious affiliation.

    The Denver Market is looking for a Part Time Funeral Service Assistant at Olinger Highland Mortuary, in Thornton, Colorado. This is a great opportunity for personal growth both personally and financially.


    This position interacts directly with client families during their time of need and is responsible for creating and maintaining a premier level of client family satisfaction. The Funeral Attendant will set-up and assist with viewings, funeral services, memorial services, etc.

    • Performs a variety of tasks during funerals and visitations to assist funeral directors and ensures that services run smoothly as planned
    • Directs calls to appropriate team members
    • Greets and receives client families and/or other persons entering the office for information and assistance
